I love pulp heroes! They are a combination of 2 things that I love... noir / crime stories & superheroes. I still listen to my Shadow radio drama recordings by Orson Welles from time to time. They are awesome! Didn't like the movie. I have yet to read the comics. Heard some good things about the Howard Chaykin run.

I loved the Phantom strips in the Sunday paper (I think the strip is still being published in one of the local papers). Also, he was the only
thing that I loved about the politically correct cartoon, Defenders of
the Earth. The Phantom 2040 cartoon was pretty good, too.
