Bought a very cheap Orion action figure 2 weeks ago. Sculpted based on Jack Kirbys design. It is lovely. Orion is now buddies with Homer-head.

Finished my initial draft of a project I'm working on with Josel Nicolas. It's a sci-fi story involving cybernetic dinosaurs, cloned movie actors, kung-fu action, explosions, fast food weirdness & some other things. There will be other comic guys that'll be joining us for the project. More details soon...

Happy 1-Year Anniversary, my lovely wife! Looking forward to a new year :)

My second favorite Kurosawa movie. Of all the Kuroswa films I've seen him in, Kambei Shimada (the leader of the seven) is probably Takashi Shimura's best role. He played the cool, grizzled, battle-hardened-but-wise samurai to a T.
