nice!

gusto ko yung denuoument nung linear version, pero gusto ko rin yung boom! headshot ending nitong non-linear.

salamat po!

yup. i really wanted the abrupt ending. pero tama ang suggestion nila josel. yung ending nung linear version brought a little humanity to the story.

I really the execution of this story, but I have to ask, what's the message? Is it a commentary on videogame violence? crime in the country?

@Chris: to answer your questions...

i love crime / noir stories & it's something that i haven't seen much done in the local comic scene. so i decided to do one. the story is taking that old saying "crime does not pay", which is the core of most if not all crime stories & localizing it in a way. also, taking a quote from David Mamet (something like... "a good script can do without dialogue") & taking it as a challenge. don't know if i achieved that, but i wanted to try anyway. i was hoping that the reader would be able to put him/herself in the protagonists shoes & try to process the protagonists feelings, emotions or whatever. as for it being a commentary on video games or crime in the country. there were a couple of people who told me the same thing. parang Counter Strike daw. haha! it was not my intention for it to be a commentary on something (maybe a little) but if it's what the reader sees then that is all well & good with me :)

thanks for commenting! i highly appreciate it.
