Wasn't doing anything productive in the office today so I drew this... more brush pen fun (added the text using MS Word & some little touch ups using MS Paint)! Yes, I have a man-crush on Yojimbo. I love the movie (& Akira Kurosawa) to bits! Inspired by seeing Eric Bonhomme's amazing Kurosawa posters.

Summer Komikon 2012 is this Saturday! Not sure if I'll be able to attend tho... will be busy packing stuff up. But the QBCCC crew will be there selling stuff. Met him at one of the 'Kons last year. Very nice, accommodating guy & one hell of an artist. Will miss seeing him at the 'Kons. Rest in peace Mang Tony...

Another poster for Baro Investigations... sort of lost my momentum drawing pages. Needed to get motivated again. Been looking at film noir / 40's - 60's movie posters & they are inspiring! Particularly these Polish movie posters from the 40's - 80's.

Free! Comic! Book! Day!

Free comics! Will try to be at Comic Odyssey this Saturday & sell (sorry, would love to give them out for free but it's for a good cause) the remaining copies of my comic, ???#2 & maybe copies of the QBCCC as well. Sales will be donated to the Mang Tony DeZuniga "medical fund".
